Zachary Paikin

Dr. Zachary Paikin is Senior Visiting Fellow at the Global Policy Institute in London, UK. He is also Senior Editor at the international affairs magazine Global Brief, a member of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung’s “Fresh Look on Eastern European Trends” project, and an expert with the Minsk Dialogue Council on International Relations. He is a founding member of the Cooperative Security Initiative, a project supported by the OSCE designed to advance international cooperation in the Euro-Atlantic area. He has published research and opinion pieces with several outlets, think tanks and policy journals across Canada, the United States and Europe. Paikin holds a BA in Middle East Studies from McGill University, a Master of Global Affairs degree from the University of Toronto’s Munk School, and a PhD in International Relations from the University of Kent. He was named a GLOBSEC Young Leader in 2019.
