The task of Canada-Russia Research Initiative is to provide complex unbiased information on Canadian-Russian relations, Russian issues in Canada and vice versa through news and analysis. We gather broadcasts from Russian and Canadian sources to update our news section on a daily basis. We follow ongoing research projects, scholarly publications and study materials to create and share the analytical database, helping to fill in gaps in knowledge and to boost a discourse among relevant academics from both countries. Canada-Russia Research Initiative will call for papers and organize essay contests for students to promote their passion for Russian studies in Canada and Canadian studies in Russia.
